Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
These terms govern your use of RoCortex. Please read them — by using RoCortex you agree to them. We have tried to keep them clear; if anything is unclear, contact us.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
RoCortex is an AI assistant for Roblox Studio operated by Aqleon AB, a limited company (aktiebolag) registered in Sweden under company registration number 559434-4367, with its registered office at Vasagatan 5A, Sweden (“Aqleon”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Aqleon and govern your access to and use of the RoCortex website, dashboard, the Roblox Studio plugin, and related services (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
RoCortex is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. “Roblox” and related marks are trademarks of Roblox Corporation. Your use of Roblox and Roblox Studio is governed by Roblox Corporation’s own terms.
2. The Service
RoCortex lets you describe a game mechanic or system in plain language and generates Luau code and related instances, which are synced into your Roblox Studio project through the RoCortex plugin. To do this, the Service reads context from your open Studio project (such as the instance tree, script source, and recent output) and sends your instructions together with that context to third-party AI model providers to produce a response. Changes applied in Studio are made as undoable edits.
AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and deciding whether to use anything the Service generates. See section 10.
We may add, change, or remove features, and some features may be offered as beta or preview functionality that is provided “as is” and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
3. Eligibility, accounts, and minors
To use the Service you must be able to enter into a binding contract with us. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and who is responsible for your use, and any paid plan must be authorised and paid for by a person who is legally permitted to use the payment method.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. By using the Service you confirm you meet these requirements.
You sign in through your Roblox account using our authentication provider. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping access to your Roblox account secure. One subscription applies to one account; you may not share, resell, or sublicense your access.
4. Plans, credits, and billing
RoCortex offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. At the time of writing, paid plans are Hobby (USD 8.99 per month or USD 88 per year) and Pro (USD 15.99 per month or USD 157 per year). The plans, prices, and allowances shown on our pricing page and at checkout apply to your purchase; current details always take precedence over any figure repeated here.
Paid plans include an allowance of credits used to make AI requests. Different models consume different numbers of credits per request. Key billing points:
- Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly, or yearly if you choose an annual plan — until cancelled. Your credit allowance is provided on a monthly basis; on annual plans, credits are delivered monthly across the year rather than all at once.
- Unused subscription credits roll over to the next month, up to a cap that depends on your plan. The free tier resets daily and does not roll over.
- If an AI request fails, the credits reserved for it are refunded to your balance automatically.
- Prices are shown in the currency and the tax treatment displayed at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes that are not collected by us. Where VAT applies, it is shown at checkout.
- We may change prices or plan features. We will give you reasonable advance notice of changes that affect your active subscription, and changes take effect from your next billing period. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
5. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU/EEA)
If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you normally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, without giving a reason.
Because RoCortex is a digital service that is made available to you immediately, when you subscribe and start using the Service you expressly request that we begin providing it during the 14-day withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that:
- you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed; and
- if you withdraw within the 14-day period after performance has begun, you will be charged an amount proportionate to the use you have made of the Service up to the point you informed us of your withdrawal.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, contact us using the contact details at the end of these Terms before the period expires. None of this affects any stronger mandatory rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time through the customer billing portal linked from your dashboard. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it is not renewed after that. Except where required by law or expressly stated in these Terms, payments already made for the current period are non-refundable.
You can switch between paid plans through the same portal; changes are prorated as shown at the time.
7. Your content and the code we generate
“Your Content” means the instructions you submit and the project context the plugin sends to the Service on your behalf (such as your scripts and project information). You keep all rights in Your Content. You grant Aqleon a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, copy, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — including sending it to the third-party AI providers that generate responses. We do not claim ownership of your game or your code, and we do not use Your Content to train our own AI models.
As between you and Aqleon, you own the code and other output that the Service generates for you in response to Your Content (“Output”), and you may use it for any lawful purpose, including in commercial games. You are responsible for reviewing Output before use. Because AI systems generate output from patterns in data, Output may not be unique to you, similar output may be generated for others, and we cannot guarantee that Output is original or free of third-party rights — so you are responsible for ensuring your use of Output complies with applicable law and the rights of others.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to create code intended to harm, exploit, or gain unauthorised access to systems, data, or other users;
- violate the terms of Roblox Corporation or of any third-party service used with RoCortex;
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source of the Service except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- circumvent usage limits or credit allowances, or access the Service through automated means in a way that places an unreasonable load on our systems;
- resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit access to the Service without our written permission; or
- misrepresent your identity or use another person’s account or payment method without authorisation.
We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe the Service is being used in breach of these Terms or in a way that risks harm to the Service or others.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service itself — including the RoCortex website, dashboard, plugin, software, design, and the RoCortex name and logo — is owned by Aqleon or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service other than the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms. This section does not affect your ownership of Your Content or Output as described in section 7.
10. AI output and your responsibility
The Service uses automated AI systems. Output may contain errors, may not work as intended, may not follow best practices, and may not be suitable for production use without changes. The Service does not provide professional, legal, or security advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing and testing Output, and for any code you choose to apply, publish, or ship in your game.
11. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. The Service depends on third parties — including Roblox, our hosting providers, and AI model providers — whose availability and behaviour are outside our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service, and we will give reasonable notice where a change materially and adversely affects a paid feature you are using.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we disclaim all implied warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aqleon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aqleon’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory rights, which apply in addition to these Terms and take precedence over anything inconsistent with them.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would create a security or legal risk. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give you notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue first. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as sections 7, 9, 11, and 14) will survive.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you live, and this choice of law does not deprive you of that protection.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first using the contact details at the end of these Terms so we can try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve it, consumers in Sweden may refer the dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN, arn.se). Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Subject to your mandatory consumer rights, disputes are otherwise subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by posting the updated Terms with a new date or by notifying you through the Service. Changes take effect when posted unless stated otherwise, and your continued use of the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
